tranquil moments

It is in the middle of the transition periods that clarity brings peace to anxiousness. It is at the most stressful moments when laughter is the sweetest. It is during the most relaxing and quietest of evenings that you can hear His whispers. He is always up to something.
I am writing today from the window seat nestled in the kitchen of my new, albeit temporary, home. I can hear the rising tide softly caressing the sandy shores with it's powder-white caps. I can see one hundred miles west, peaceful, soft, seemingly eternal. I know I am grounded, but I am 'all at sea,' in my heart, as Jamie Cullum would say. I am savoring the tranquility of this morning before I have to turn on the teacher-in-me when I pick up the boys from school this afternoon.

All is well here. I hope all is well there.
