To you who disregards the "me" I have been, allowing me to be "me" for now, all the while knowing that the "me" I am becoming is the me He designed: today I am thinking of you, especially. La ville (the city) is bustling at the start of a new work week, and guess where I went today? But of course--straight to the book shop en centre ville (downtown bookshop)! Oh, you would have loved it! Not only that, but I drive a mini-mercedes (yes, they actually make mercedes in mini-size) all around town to take the kids to school and faire les courses (go to the market) for Laetitia.
Oh, the good life! I spent the morning preparing for lunch (you would love this dish: boiled eggs, fresh tomatoes-pickedthis morning, of course, white beans, and tuna), enjoying breakfast on the patio, and working with Milan, who is 8 years old, and teaching himto speak English. Today, we read Dr. Suess. Apparently, if a French person wants to speak English, they go straight to Dr. Suess? Wierd. But, then again, 21st century French citizens are hooked on American music from the 70's, and I love music from French cafés. I mean, whatever works.
So, it is afternoon here and the chores for the day sont complet (are complete). Laetitia took me to the international school here to register for summer intensive classes that will begin next week, continuing through the end of July. In 3 weeks, we go to the Biarritz for un petit vacances (a little vacation). The view of the mountains is still perfect, and I am still in paradise. No talk of American politics today. All is well.
